At Home with Beaded Treasures Project

Last month we had the pleasure of joining three lovely women from the Louisville community in hosting a Beaded Treasures home party. Thanks to Pam Greenwell, Gail Becker, and Kathy Stearman, this home party was our most successful yet. With attendance reaching fifty women, we were thrilled to extend our mission and message to newcomers as we gathered  over jewelry, bags and scarves.  Our hosts were kind enough to provide an array of delectable horderves and cheeses.  Our very own dedicated Founder and Director Surekha Kulkarni gave a short speech detailing the great journey that Beaded Treasures Project has taken!

Red flowers and smiles filled each room as the attendees were able to browse and purchase unique hand made pieces of all kinds in contribution to our cause. Our goal to reach all relocated refugee women of Kentucky each and every day was surely on all of our minds as we chatted about our experiences and passions to help others. We contacted house party co-host Gail Becker to follow up on her thoughts of the day and here is what she had to say: “We were thrilled with the great turn-out! While most of the guests enjoy buying hand-crafted jewelry, they were mainly attracted by the opportunity to support the Beaded Treasures Project. BTP’s strong mission is already well known in the community. This was a real ‘feel-good’ event!”   Thanks again to the amazing women who volunteered to host a home party with Beaded Treasures Project. We are so appreciative of those who came out to support us and we are looking forward to the next gathering! If you are interested in hosting a home party clink here to find out more!
